Differences

There seem to be many differences between the midwest and Charlotte. Here is a beginning list. Feel free to comment if you know of any others.

1. Merging - Midwest: Everyman for himself. Charlotte: Let me slow down all the traffic behind me to let you in.
2. Driving - Midwest: everyone drives in the right lane, except to pass. Charlotte: everyone drives in the left lane, except to pass.
3. Speeding - Midwest: no one speeds very often. Charlotte: everyone speeds.
4. Pleases and thank yous - Midwest: bring the response "huh?" Charlotte: they are expected!
5. Appearance - Midwest: very laid back Charlotte: very "together"
6. Sweet Tea - Midwest: a coming phenomena Charlotte: a drug of choice

So this is only after 2 weeks of time here. I am sure this list will grow.
